Adagio describes music performed slowly in time; I wanted to elevate that feeling of slowness with a contrast of focused, sharp details against a soft, blurred background. The attention is on the music, and the intention is loud and slow. With hours upon hours of extensive attention to detail, this work turned out beyond my expectations. I've fallen in love with graphite all over again.
